These (signs) are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in his name. John 20:31
Of his fulness we have all received, and grace for grace. John 1:14
The good news of Jesus Christ brings us encouragement in a unique way, such as we should consciously grasp at the beginning of every day.
To those who are dissatisfied and disappointed the Lord Jesus promises: “Whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst (ch.4, v.14).
To those who hunger after truth He presents Himself as the bread of life: “He who comes to me shall never hunger. (ch. 6, v.35).
Jesus tells whoever does not know which way to turn: “I am the light of the world. He who follows me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life. (ch. 8, v.12).
Those who cannot defend themselves, who feel unsure or fearful, He assures that He is the Good Shepherd. To such whom He has saved and who belong to Him He gives the assurance: Neither shall anyone snatch them out of my hand” (ch. 10, v.28)
To all who seek after God and the sense of life He says: “I am the way, the truth and the life” (ch.14, v.6).
To whoever is weeping for a loved one, He calls: I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me, though he may die, he shall live. (ch. I I, v. 25).
To those who feel lonely He promises: “I am with you always” (Mathew 28, 20).
Jesus Christ is the friend who never disappoints those who put their trust in Him.
