Jesus, the One to bear our worries

The one who comes to me I will by no means cast out.

Casting all your care upon him, for he cares for you.

John 6:37;1 Peter 5:7.

We often hear the exclamation, “What a life!” So much suffering, injustice, and immorality, difficulties of every kind only to end inevitably in death! We can understand those who sigh thus: they have nothing but uncertainty for the present and no hope beyond the grave. Are you one of those who find life a hard burden to bear? There is One who can sympathize with you, because He lived on this earth as a Man among men. It is Jesus! You must know that He is alive and is personally interested in you.

He who shed tears can give you consolation.

He who was hated by the world will show you His love.

He who was forsaken by all will never abandon you.

He, the just One who was condemned, will bring you God’s free pardon.

He who was rejected by men, will never repulse you.

He who was put to death on the cross will give you eternal life.

What must be done to find such a Friend? You must turn to Him with your worries and your griefs, with the entire burden weighing down on your shoulders. That weight may be unknown to others, but not to Him. Jesus is ready to hear you; He will not pass over any of your problems.
