Atheists and Sexual Abuse

Recently, the news of atheists abusing women is all around us. David Silverman, the President of American Atheists, a married man, was accused by two women for sexually assaulting them.

Michael Shermer, the editor of Skeptic magazine is accused of sexual harassment and assault by several women.

Atheist cosmologist Lawrence Krauss was suspended by Arizona State University for sexually inappropriate behavior.

Atheist Rebecca Watson reported the culture of sexual harassment at secular events and was told by Richard Dawkins to “stop whining” and “grow up”

You see, atheism makes a logical case for raping women. Michel Foucault, the famous atheist said, sex is all about power play.

Silverman said, “I objectified women”. Only God can give sanctity, value, dignity and worth to an individual. In a godless world, we can objectify any person and use him or her for our selfish desires. I know you say, ‘even priests are sexually abusing people’. What about Bill Hybels? But every priest who violates a child or another person is contradicting the teachings of Christ. Rape is the logical consequence of atheism, not it’s contradiction. You can’t contradict anything in atheism.

Two atheists Randy Thornhill and Craig T. Palmer wrote the book A Natural History of Rape: Biological Bases of Sexual Coercion. In this book they made a logical case for rape from tiny animals to human beings. They argued after millions of years of rape in nature, there is no reason to argue against it now among the humans.

Most atheists love atheism not for intellectual reasons but for moral reasons. Jesus said, ‘And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.’ John 3:19

Lawrence Krauss loves ‘Universe from Nothing’ without God, the Creator because he could feed his flesh with all the sinful pleasures it seeks without feeling guilty.

Let us hope atheists see the sinfulness of their hearts and come to Lord Jesus for repentance and salvation.
