I love California. The beautiful Yosemite National Park mystified me. The people of California are friendly and welcoming.
It breaks my heart to see this beautiful state burning and to this point over 48 people were killed.
Paradise, California has the highest death toll. Former Christian and now atheist Micheal Shermer complained why God did not create a perfect world?
God did create a perfect world without wildfires and death. But when Adam and Eve sinned, the curse came over this earth and ever since wild fires, earthquakes, floods, hurricanes became common.
But God in His mercy provided us a way out through our Lord Jesus Christ. When we trust him as our Savior and turn away from our sins, we are saved.
Jesus came to this world being called a Savior because this world is not a safe haven.
Modern humans deny, ignore or forget this reality and become deists and atheists. They create their own Paradises and are content with their godless lives.
As Paradise on earth is burning, let us hope Californians and other will realize that this world is not our home, we should repent of our sins and turn to Lord Jesus Christ.
Let us pray for God’s mercies on California and its victims.
