Christian’ author Jen Hatmaker recently celebrated her daughter’s homosexuality with the words, “I am so glad you’re gay”.
Welcome to the apostate church of our time. Christian leaders not only keeping quiet about the abominations in their homes, but are now celebrating sin in their families and churches. The Bible makes it very clear that homosexuality is a sin against God. If one of our loved ones are in sin, we should show them their sin and ask them to repent. We should not be saying , “I am so glad you’re gay”.
Now I recognize that is not easy. But following God is not easy. Our blessed Savior said, “He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.” (Matthew 10:37). This does not mean that Jesus wants us to hate our family members. It means when it comes to loving Jesus and His Commandments on one hand, and loving a family member and his/her wishes on the other, we should always choose Jesus and His Commandments.
For 1900 years, up until 1960s, Christian church believed only in a monogamous marriage between a male and a female. Any other sexual relationship is considered sinful, whether it is homosexual or heterosexual. An apostle celebrating his son or daughter’s homosexuality would be unconscionable. It is essential that we honor the Word of God rather than follow the changing customs of this world which is under the dominion of Satan.
Let us hope Jen Hatmaker will repent of her sin and work to save her family from the sinfulness of sin. Peace!
