Freedom of Speech is under attack in Bangladesh. Atheist writer Shahzahan Bachchu was shot to death in Bangladesh today. In the last few years many atheists have been killed in Bangladesh and it is disturbing.
I strongly condemn this dastardly attack on the freedom of speech. People should have freedom to express and publish their ideas including secularism and atheism.
The freedom atheists like Richard Dawkins and Sam Harris enjoy in the West is the fruit of Christian faith. Islamic nations don’t give such freedom to atheists. But sadly, many atheists don’t recognize that.
Any way, may God comfort the family of Mr.Bachchu.
